Amanda Teams Up With Nathi On ‘Intonga Yam’

There’s a new kid in the block by the name of Amanda who is signed to Muthaland, an independent label that’s home to Afro-pop sensation, Nathi and RnB talent, Vusi Nova.

Following the footsteps of Nathi, the songstress comes through with an Afro-soul jam, ‘Intonga Yam’ which also features Nathi. Credit where it is due, the vocalist does have a great singing voice and teaming up with the ‘Nomvula’ hit maker can only mean that a spot in the mainstream industry is likely possible.

Even though this might sound like an effortless song, Amanda still has to prove herself beyond this offering. While ‘Intong Yam’ does not sound bad, the vocalist could have offered two or three verses, instead the song is mainly dominated by a chorus, which the songstress sings with Nathi – making the song a bit monotonous.

Allow us to wait for more material from Amanda before we can fully welcome her to the mainstream as one of the most promising artists.
